StudioDock now works with AI agents through MCP and CLI
Scale studios can connect ChatGPT, Claude, and MCP-compatible agents through tenant-scoped OAuth, while paid, active-trial, and expired-trial admins get a constrained StudioDock-only support assistant.

How to use this update
- 1Open Settings -> Integrations as a Tenant Admin on Scale.
- 2Create an OAuth client for your agent or a personal API token for CLI use.
- 3Connect to https://www.getstudiodock.com/api/mcp and test a non-mutating availability query.
- 4Review and confirm a supported booking or configuration change in the same agent conversation.
- 5Inspect the audit history and revoke the connection when it is no longer needed.
What changed
What changed
- Scale Tenant Admins can register OAuth clients, issue expiring API tokens, select granular scopes, revoke access, and inspect a 90-day redacted audit history.
- The remote MCP endpoint exposes tenant-scoped studio operations to compatible agents, while the public `studiodock-cli` npm package supports terminal, CI, and private-bot workflows.
- Supported booking and settings changes can be reviewed and confirmed in the same agent conversation; explicitly trusted connections can execute directly.
- A floating AI support assistant helps signed-in studio teams answer StudioDock product questions, continue with follow-ups, and open the relevant guide or setting.
- Managers, Freelancers, and expired trials receive step-by-step guidance; active Tenant Admins can review supported Before / After setting suggestions. Questions that need a person offer a direct support@getstudiodock.com handoff.
- Every answer can be rated as helpful, partly helpful, or not helpful. StudioDock platform owners can review an aggregate AI Support Health dashboard with volume, helpfulness, outcomes, latency, and support handoffs.
What changed
Connection controls
- Each connection uses granular permissions, can be revoked at any time, and keeps an auditable history of agent activity.
- Interactive connections show the proposed result before it is confirmed in the same conversation; direct execution is an explicit choice for trusted automations.
- StudioDock validates connection identity, tenant access, permissions, and execution mode on every request.
