How to use this update
  1. 1Open Settings and review the Spaces checkout template selector.
  2. 2Keep One-page checkout for compact booking pages, or choose Multi-step checkout for a guided flow.
  3. 3Run a test booking with add-ons, wallet credit, gift card or promo code, and each enabled payment method.
  4. 4Check the embedded `?embed=1` booking page before updating external website embeds.

What changed

What changed

  • Settings now includes a Spaces checkout template option: keep the current one-page checkout or switch Spaces booking pages to a guided multi-step flow.
  • The multi-step template separates time selection, add-ons, client details, wallet credit, and payment while preserving the same checkout API, pricing rules, tracking, and embed support.
  • Returning portal clients can skip the details step when their contact profile is already available; legal agreement still requires an explicit checkbox before booking.
  • Sessions booking pages are not changed by this setting.

What changed

Why studio owners care

  • Higher-context bookings can feel clearer because clients make one decision at a time instead of scanning a dense form.
  • Add-ons, Booking Plans, prepaid hours, wallet credit, gift cards, promo codes, deposits, tax, and payment methods still work inside the guided flow.
  • Studios can test the new template without losing the one-page checkout option that already works for simple rentals.
  • The checkout better matches repeat-client behavior by making portal sign-in useful earlier in the booking path.
