Checkout experiments now measure conversion and booking value

Selected studio rollouts can compare one-page and multi-step Spaces checkout with server-side conversion, order value, funnel, and retention reporting.

What changed

What changed

  • When enabled for a studio, Spaces booking sessions are assigned evenly between the existing one-page and multi-step checkout templates.
  • Admin Analytics reports conversion, average order value, retained booking value per session, add-on engagement, funnel progress, payment completion, and checkout errors.
  • Measurement works across StudioDock tenant URLs, studio custom domains, and embedded booking pages without storing customer contact details.
  • Checkout-template settings stay locked during the experiment, with an immediate one-page pause fallback if needed.
  • Simultaneous page-load milestones now reuse the same experiment session without dropping funnel events.

What changed

Why this matters

  • Studios can base checkout decisions on completed bookings and retained value instead of page impressions alone.
  • Conversion and average order value remain visible separately, making the source of any result easier to understand.
  • The experiment does not change pricing, availability, add-ons, or payment rules between variants.
