Limited-use promo codes now keep reliable usage limits

Promo limits now remain accurate across concurrent bookings, online payment retries, failures, cancellations, and expired checkout sessions.

What changed

What changed

  • StudioDock now reserves limited promo capacity atomically when an online booking is created and consumes it only when the payment fulfillment winner confirms the booking.
  • Failed, cancelled, expired, or replaced payment attempts restore their reservation exactly once, while repeated provider notifications cannot consume the same use twice.
  • Spaces and Sessions remove a promo that becomes exhausted during checkout, recalculate the total, preserve entered details, and focus a localized field-level message.
  • The same behavior applies on StudioDock tenant URLs and Scale custom domains.

What changed

Why this matters

  • Studios can rely on a maximum-use promotion even when several customers check out at the same time.
  • Payment retries and provider callbacks do not silently overuse or permanently consume promo capacity.
  • Customers can continue checkout without re-entering their booking details when the last use was taken concurrently.
