Clearer progress and recovery for Google sign-in
Google sign-in shows progress, prevents repeated button presses while starting, and restores the Google button for a clear keyboard retry after failure.

What changed
Google sign-in and registration show a pending state while the sign-in attempt starts. Repeated button presses cannot start another attempt during that step. Previously silent Google callback errors now show a message inviting you to try again, and focus returns to the enabled Google button after a failed start.
